happy thanksgiving

Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving!

I have to share this funny story. Last night, I received an email from another mom saying she was going through her daughter's Friday folder (it is similar to our Thursday folders but she is at a different school). Her daughter was asked to draw a picture of a leader. She drew George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and ME! 

Seriously! I mean, how often does one get to be on the same list with the likes of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln?

What makes me smile most about this - is that she is part of our Girl Scout troop and she thought of me as her GS Leader! So very precious and hilarious!

Also, I am in the process of updating this blog and for some reason, I noticed yesterday's post never was emailed out. Here is the link for yesterday's which is technically dated October 13th because it's all about our trip to Mesa Verde.
